Staff Profiles

Jane has recently joined the Board of Trustees, having spent over 20 years as a Governor of Darrick Wood School. She was Vice Chair of the Governing Body and served on many committees including the Finance and Risk Assessment Committees. She was also a member of the Trust Committee. Jane was involved with some large projects and was responsible for winning the bids to allow Darrick Wood School to build its 3G Pitch. She is passionate about championing the role Schools play in the overall successful development of our Children. She worked closely with the Darrick Wood Headteacher, alongside the Chair of Governors in developing the overall objectives for the School. Jane has over 40 years' experience in industry, primarily is marketing and sales. Having worked for British Telecommunications for 20 years in various roles across the company she left to set up her own successful Greeting Card business, selling Business to Business, both Nationally and Internationally. The company was one of the early adopters of the on-line channel, being invited by Amazon to join them as one of their early suppliers. In her personal life Jane has become a Carer for a family member, she enjoys walking and is joined by her two Havanese dogs.
