Sustainability

Our aim is to make sure that all pupils live and learn in a sustainable way. As Impact Multi Academy Trust, we have the responsibility and opportunity to make a difference in looking after our planet. Our collective choices and decisions can make a significant impact, as we prepare our students to inspire, respect and flourish as global citizens. Our aim is to deliver a sustainable approach to sustainability in our schools.

Our guiding principles:

  • We will seek information, support and guidance beyond our school and community to drive change and ensure we remain ambitious and well informed.
  • We will place learning about the environment, sustainability, and the stewardship of nature at the forefront of our taught curriculum.
  • We will reduce our carbon footprint with the aim to be carbon neutral in our utility use by 2030.
  • We will ensure all sites, buildings and operations across the trust are as sustainable and eco friendly as possible.
