Staff Profiles

Sam has over 19 years' experience teaching English, over 10 as Head of English at Langley Park School for Boys. He has taught across all key stages and has coordinated the teaching of English Language and English Literature at KS4 and KS5. He is interested in exploring ways of creating an engaging and exciting curriculum, building on prior learning, as well as helping to bridge the gap between KS2 and KS3. He is keen to explore ways of developing and implementing whole-school reading strategies to help empower learning support and teaching staff , and he is currently completing an NPQ in Leading Literacy
