The Ofsted call came at Hayes School less than three weeks into the new school year, with this being Hayes’ first inspection in almost 10 years. This was a full “graded” inspection, with a team of six inspectors throughout the two full days. The report was published this week and we can now confirm that Hayes School was assessed as Outstanding in every single category, with Ofsted concluding that “Hayes School provides all pupils with an exceptional experience”.  

It is especially pleasing that inspectors recognised the ambitious and effective curriculum that teachers have developed over a number of years, which supports all students to learn, understand more and make excellent progress, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. 

We are hugely proud of the school for maintaining its Outstanding grading against the new Challenging inspection framework. Thank you to all staff and pupils who contributed to the inspection for their hard work and dedication.
